Diving into the Learning Styles Pool

So, you know how we all have our own unique ways of soaking in information, right? Some folks are all about pictures and graphs, while others are more into chatting and listening. Well, it turns out we’ve got a whole bunch of learners at Rase, and each one has their own way of rocking the learning game.

1. Picture People - Visual Learners

Imagine learning through pictures, charts, and doodles. Yep, that’s our visual crew! They’re like the artists of learning, turning everything into a colorful, memorable masterpiece.

2. Chat Champs - Auditory Learners

These are the talkers and listeners. They love a good chat, enjoy listening to discussions, and are the kings and queens of the group project meetings. Just hit play, and they’re good to go!

3. Hands-On Heroes - Kinesthetic Learners

Ever had that friend who just can’t sit still? That’s our kinesthetic gang! They learn best by doing stuff—experiments, moving around, getting hands-on. Learning is an action-packed adventure for them!

4. Book Buffs - Reading/Writing Learners

These are the classic learners. Give them a good ol’ textbook, let them jot down notes, and they’re in their element. Reading and writing are their superpowers.

Our Learning Style Scoop

We wanted to know more about how we all like to learn, so we did a bit of digging. We asked our fellow Rase students about their favorite ways to absorb info, and here’s what we found.

Survey Scoop

  • Guess what? A whopping 85% of us are picture people! We love our visuals – charts, diagrams, you name it.
  • About 70% are chat champs. Yep, we’re all about the discussions and chats. Learning is a team sport!
  • Hands-on heroes represent 60% of us. We’re the action-packed learners who love getting our hands dirty (not literally, most of the time).
  • Book buffs make up 75% of us. We still love our traditional reading and writing ways. Old-school but effective!

What the Experts Say

Dr. Sarah Thompson, who knows her stuff. She says, “Mix it up, people! Use different ways of teaching so everyone can shine.”
